Pokemon lovers don't just sit there! Don't miss out on the Pokemon evolution series!

Pokemon Company International, recently re-announced the release of the ongoing new episodic animated series.

The series titled Pokemon Evolutions is set to celebrate the Pokemon franchise’s 25th anniversary. 

Unlike every other Pokemon show ever released, this 8-episode series will include all known regions of the Pokemon world explored in the core video game franchise.

This new series is being released one episode at a time and started on September 9. 

The rest of the episodes will be released at odd times throughout the next several months. 

The first episode goes by the name The Champion.

The Champion episode started in the Galar Region. 

This news series is set not to play out in the same order the original games were released.

If it did, and as well as I know the Pokemon franchise, Kanto would have been the first.

According to my observation and what I saw, the series is in reverse and chronological order.

Looking at the dates each core series game was released. That’s Galar, Alola, Kalos, Unova, Sinnoh, Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto, marking a backward arrangement.

According to the vice president of marketing for the Pokémon Company International, Mr Colin Palmer, each region has been a touchstone for new generations of Pokémon trainers as the brand has grown, and also wanted ‘Pokémon Evolutions’ to pay homage to that legacy while also being innovative and contemporary,” 

Isn't this a new adventure and familiar all at once?

The series premiere's on the official Pokemon YouTube channel and is also available on Pokemon TV since September 9, 2021.

Pokemon TV is an app on mobile devices, smart TV devices, and Nintendo Switch, it is free for all users, including its contents.

The series is slated to run through September, October, and December. This is excluding November.

On Thursday, September 9 the Champion featuring the Galar region was released.

If you missed that episode, you can still catch up if you don't miss the next episode which will be released on Thursday, September 23, an episode titled “The Eclipse” featuring the Alola region.

It is seen that episodes will be released on Thursdays.

Episode 3, “The Visionary” featuring the Kalos region, will premiere on Thursday, October 7.

Also in October, “The Plan” featuring the Unova region would be released on the 21st.

After October, the program will take a break for November and in December, episodes will be released back to back.

• Thursday, December 2: “The Rival” featuring the Sinnoh region.

• Thursday, December 9: “The Wish” featuring the Hoenn region.

• Thursday, December 16: “The Show” featuring the Johto region.

• Thursday, December 23: “The Discovery” featuring the Kanto region.

This series was animated by OLM Studios, the same group that animated the main Pokemon anime series (Pokemon the Series, テレビアニメ「ポケットモンスター」シリーズ)!
